This is a pretty rare 1994 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR. The rear suspension was based around the hard to find air Fox Alps shock (all fox alps shocks seem to have problems now…this one actually works great, but the top eyelet hole has a crack across the topside…the very last pic is a zoomed in view of the crack, which is repairable). Aside from the shock eyelet area crack, the entire bike is fully functional and completely rebuilt (just finished this week). It’s an incredible build and would be wonderful to ride around or to hang in someone’s retro collection. Note: the is one small ding on the right side of the top tube. The frame and rear shock are original (as well as the flat bars, seatpost and seat clamp). The original fork was upgraded to a RockShox Quadra 21R (that’s very smooth). The drivetrain was upgraded with vintage yellow RaceFace Turbine 94bcd cranks, XTR front AND rear derailleurs (3x8), XT shifters/levers, XT brakes and brand new 8 speed KMC chain. The upgraded Thomson Elite stem is in beautiful shape as well as the original Specialized flat bars. The headset was also upgraded to an awesome mango Chris King headset. The wheelset was upgraded with an anodized set of SUP Mavic rims laced to vintage XTR hubs (blue anodized spokes and blue anodized valve covers). The Schwalbe Rapid Rob tires are brand new as well as the ODI grips. FINALLY, the Selle Flite Titanium rail saddle is nearly NOS (amazing condition). This is a complete rebuild, but keep in mind that these vintage components (as well as the frame)) are used. This is a very cool bike overall and I hope it will be at home in someone’s Specialized collection soon! I’m pretty picky about shipping, so I might actually ship this bike in two boxes (wheels separately…but, it really depends on what bike boxes I’m capable of getting the week it sells). Shipping will be a flat rate of $150 to anywhere in the lower 48 states. U.S. bidders only. I’ll ship within 2 business days.
